Without logging in, you may:
Search and read all platforms, claims and responses.
Make bookmarks to claims, so that you may return to them later, as with any regular web page.
See all the links that would be available if you were logged in to an account,
so that you may experiment before deciding if you want to create an account.
Build your own web pages (hosted by you, of course) that refer to documents in the Lens,
using the URL's in the source of the pages returned by the Lens. Readers of your pages
will be able to access the Lens documents without having to read any introduction, be
prompted to log in, etc. Of course, the format of Lens URL's is likely to change periodically.
Such changes are posted to the News and Reviews page.
But without logging in, you cannot:
Publish claims or vote on claims.
Browse information related to "your account", such as the list of claims you have published,
and the list of positions you have taken.
Nor will you be able to use any advanced features that bypass the webserver to
provide faster and more effective analysis of Lens data.
You will not be able to run (for very long) querying or indexing software such as webbots
and spiders, on the contents of the lens database (although lens documentation such as this
page, is no problem). This may be a temporary limitation, depending upon the growth of resources
applied to the Lens. For now, any excessive use of anonymous services is treated as if it were
a "denial of service" attack, and results in temporary disabling of access.
Finally, your queries may receive lower priority than those made from logged in sessions.
